Sound Around (School and Startup)
Sound Around is our first startup company providing an automated solution for bands and music venues to create their own mobile phone applications.
Seeing its inception in NCSU’s Engineering Entrepreneurship Program, the idea went from a summer concept to a breathing product during the Fall and Spring semesters of school. Under the mentorship of Dr. Steve Walsh, Sound Around started to take shape toward the holiday season of 2009. We will be launching public beta in the summer of 2010 on the iPhone and iPod Touch platform, eventually expanding to encompass Android.
